Hubbard’s artistic vision is shaped by a desire to preserve cultural identity in a globalized, postcolonial world. Her work fuses ancient motifs with cutting-edge technologies to reimagine what cultural inheritance can look like in the diaspora. Through vibrant compositions and experimental forms, she crafts visual languages that reflect both personal narratives and collective memory.
She has exhibited in notable group shows including Threads of Identity (Lux’O Collection, SoHo), Uzuri Gala (Concordia, Montreal), and Threads of Her Story: Black Women in Art (Robert C. Turner Gallery, Alfred, NY). A 2025 nominee for the International Sculpture Center's Outstanding Student Achievement Award and recipient of the prestigious Jerome Ackerman Internship, Hubbard was also awarded a residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. She will complete her BFA in Art and Design at Alfred University in May 2025.
Through her work, Hubbard seeks not only to honor her roots but to reshape how they live on. Her pieces serve as portals—connecting continents, generations, and possibilities.
